“I didn’t always know I wanted to work in the fashion industry. It wasn’t
until after I had spent years in business school that I realized where my
heart and talents lie. A move to San Francisco upon my acceptance into
The Academy of Art University’s fashion design program started me out
on a long and joyous path into the fashion industry.
I have worked in many areas of fashion, ranging from retail Sales
Associate in boutiques such as Ambiance SF, to being Designer Assistant
in local fashion shows. To my friends and family, I am on their speed dial
for the vast number of fashion questions they have. I’ve been told that it’s almost impossible to shop without me.
I eat, sleep and breathe fashion. How does that translate into image
consulting and personal shopping? Regular trips to New York for fashion week, being active in the San Francisco fashion community, and pouring
over fashion magazines mean that my clients will be kept up to date on
what’s hot in fashion. My personal quest is to recreate those designer
looks into affordable options for today’s woman.
My ability to dress many body types stems not only from my education
and background, but also from my personal struggle with weight. I have
been anywhere from size 8 to 22, and have needed to re-teach myself
how to dress in each phase of my life. No one is perfect, and we all
struggle with those hard-to-fit body parts. With my help, we can make
shopping fun again!”
